Snow and Soon
Hello everyone!
I don't have a lot to say today but I felt I should stop by and say hello to you all. Right now it is snowing but I don't think it is going to amount to much, but you never know, this is New England after all. I like it when it snows, most people seem to complain about it, but I enjoy it. I like how it turns everything white and how it gets so peaceful outside.
I only have one thing to tell you today and that is that I'm not going to tell you much about what I am going to tell you about soon! That means that there is going to be something soon, but you are not going to find out much about it, until I tell you about it, which will be happening soon. Do you think I can be more confusing? I will give you a hint though, It doesn't have anything to do with moon dust! I know I probably just gave it away, but don't ruin the secret for everyone, keep it to yourself.
I think I am over tired and I'm just confusing everyone now. Actually, I'm just confusing myself. Well actually both, I think, I don't know, I guess, Goodnight!
Also I am still looking for responses to my last blog!

What is the best thing in your life?
What is one piece of advise you would give a young person coming into this world?

Things and Stuff
Hello Everyone!
Let’s talk about things and stuff!
I guess we should start with the biggest change since I blogged last. Well that is a lie actually... I told you I wasn’t dead not to long about but I'm talking about before that. Anyways, I'm getting married! About four years ago I found this girl named Amy and last month I decided I wanted to keep her, well actually I didn't decide that last month, I just told her, I had decided awhile before that. So now comes the long, confusing and crazy thing called wedding planning! I really have no idea what I’m doing but so far it is going pretty good... I think. That's all I have to say about that for now. I'm sure there will be more updates coming once things are decided on. Like blue and yellow.
On a more recent topic, How did everyone survive the storm? I was hoping for more, maybe six feet or so, but the weather never listens to me. I had some fun adventures through the storm though. First of all I worked at 6:45 the day of the storm, which meant I had to wake up around 5 to clean up the snow to be able to even get to work. When I got there, the place was dead all day, I wonder why. Although the big boss man was nice and gave us all free pastries for coming to work in a snow storm. Instead of supervising and cashiering, I got to spend the day shoveling, salting, and taking pictures of a car buried in a snow pile. I would say it was a good day. Oh and when did we start naming snow storms, and why did they pick Nemo when Gandalf was an option? I guess there saving Gandalf for a more awesome storm, maybe the Snowpocalypse.
I also started going to the gym, which is weird, because it's a gym and I'm going to it, yeah. Anyways I guess I will tell you the story because I really have nothing better I could be doing right now other than getting a job. Well I guess this is the only thing because I’ve applied to almost everything I could find at the moment so that's on hold unless I get a call while typing this, but it’s after 9 PM so I doubt that will happen. It all started last Thursday. Amy and I were doing something, I think it was important but I can’t remember, and she decided that we should go to the gym. Oh I was working! I think she was too and she came over after. Anyways, Amy kidnaps me and we head off to the gym. Well actually, we headed off to find some shorts because I had nothing to wear to the gym. After a failed search, we arrive at Planet Fitness. We head in to workout. When we get in we find out that Amy needs super awesome membership to bring guests. So now, we have to decide to go do something else or sign me up for average membership like hers. Although it is not much of a choice, she pretty much forced me to join. Not really, but anyways. We head in and get changed. I wait about an hour for Amy to get changed, I don't get how it takes so long. We first went on these things that were like bicycle except you stand up. I somehow manage to repeatedly smash me knee on the center post thing, even though I couldn't seem to reach when I tried to do it on purpose. We then headed to all these crazy machines that worked out one part of your body. They were fun and interesting. Apparently I was embarrassing Amy because I kept trying to figure out how they worked and asked her a lot of questions. One of the machines decided it wanted my fingers dead. I had no problem pulling the bar thing but for some reason my fingers were cramping up and in pain, although they weren't doing anything other than holding a bar. The last thing I went on was this weird machine that you kneel on. You have to pull yourself up this curved rail using your legs. It’s hard to explain, but the seat could spin and stuff and it was fun. Well that is my adventure at Planet Fitness.
That's all I have for you today. I feel like there was more but I can't remember. I need to go on a Photoventure soon.

SceniCreations: A Slightly Different Direction
Hello Everyone!
I'm not dead! I always seem to forget about blogs. Maybe I just get to busy, or I don't have anything to say for a few days and then I forget, or both, who knows. Anyways that's not what I'm here to talk about! This isn't the why have I not been posting blog, this is a SceniCreations blog!
So you heard about SceniCreations in my last post just about 2 months ago. I have been messing around with fountains, learning new techniques and other fun stuff like that. I haven't build one worthy of selling yet but a few are getting close!
Now for what I am actually here to talk about! I have been thinking of how I could turn this hobby into more of a business. People like fountains but they are limited, and the amount of them I would have to make would be crazy. There are also limitations on time due to drying time. It takes at least a week to make one fountain because you either have to wait for the glue, coating, sealants, or paint to dry between each step. I have been looking into other similar things to do. Then, just a few days ago, the amazing Amy found me a little book. This little book was on clearance for the amazing price of.... one dollar! Sold!
So what was this book? It was simply called, Water Gardens. The book explained everything you needed to know how to make water gardens from the size of a small pot to a decent sized pond with streams and waterfalls. It showed the popular plants and fish you can use and how to take care of them. Now I can't remember what I said in my last post and I'm not going back to look so I will just tell you again if I already did. As a kid I think my favorite thing to do was play in the brook next to my house. I liked to rearrange the rocks to make little dams and pools or make it flow faster in areas. I have always like streams, rivers, ponds, etc. Which is kind of strange because I don't like swimming, I guess I like surface water.
This added a new direction to my idea, instead of doing fountains and miniatures terrain I could focus more on the water aspect. I currently have three areas I am thinking of, fountains, water gardens, and aquariums. Water gardens could be in ground or simple pots with some plants in them. The aquariums be a combination of fountains and water gardens along with fish or other aquatic animals. I am currently working on my first one now. If you read my last blog you know what I am doing for fountains.
The problem now is I have no experience with making actual water gardens, I have a good idea of how to make them and have ideas on things to do, I just don't have the experience. I came up with some plans to make a little river into our pond with a fountain and small pond at the top. It is getting too late to work on this year so it will most likely have to wait till spring. This is kind of disappointing but also a good time to learn more and plan.
This is all for now, I will try to keep you updated as time goes one. There also might be some other random blogs mixed in their too.

SceniCreations: The Beginning!
Hello Everyone!
You may be wondering where my 48 Days posts have gone. Well it's partly me being lazy and partly being busy. I have put 48 Days on a hold for a bit. I know that isn't how you are supposed to do it but oh well.
So now let's move on to the main topic, SceniCreations! What is SceniCreations you ask? Well it's a little business/Etsy shop that I created! The last few months I have been building a few water fountains and have really enjoyed it. After reading 48 Days it gave me the idea to attempt to make it a way to make money. I then had to come up with a name. I wanted it to be something nature like because everything I make looks like natural things. I then came up with Scenic, I was thinking of nice views, mountains, lakes, and valleys. This all fit what I wanted what I was making to look like. The second part of the name, well I don't think I need to explain it. So now I have Scenic Creations, I looked around and googled it and well... there are a lot of places called Scenic Creations. I wanted my name to be unique and easy to find. This is how I ended up with SceniCreations, also the two c's next to each other bugged me,so one had to go.
I was thinking about things that I could make and realized that fountains are limited. There are many things you can do with them but there all still generally the same. I want a variety of things to make, this also helps keep me motivated. If I keep doing something new I won't get bored of it, this is why I don't like being a cashier, same thing over and over again for hours on end. I came up with three general categories of things for me to make; fountains, game terrain, and natural looking sculptures. All of these thing require the same general process to make but each have something diffe
rent about them. The fountains and sculptures are the same other than the sculptures you don't need a place for the water to go or an area for a pump. The game terrain is much smaller and needs to be more precise so it will blend in well on a board and with other pieces. If you are wondering what game terrain is, it is things like this http://www.mind-games.com/temp40/table%20terrain.JPG , it is used for many different table top games.
Over the last couple of weeks I have been pulling everything together, making an email, twitter, etsy shop, and Facebook page. I still have a lot to learn and figure out but I made it to the point where I can open up the shop! You can check it out here! http://www.etsy.com/shop/SceniCreations or Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/SceniCreations or Twitter! https://twitter.com/SceniCreations or E-mail me! SceniCreations@gmail.com
